Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of Aurae (the "App," "Service"), operated by Oğuz Çamur ("we," "us," "Aurae"). By using Aurae, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

Not a medical or crisis service

Aurae is not therapy, counseling, or a medical or mental health service, and it is not a substitute for professional care. Aurae does not diagnose, treat, or provide clinical advice. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis or thinking about harming yourself, please contact a crisis line or emergency services in your area immediately -- do not rely on Aurae for emergency support.

Eligibility

Aurae is intended for users aged 17 and older. By using Aurae, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.

Your account

You're responsible for maintaining the security of your sign-in method (Sign in with Apple or email) and for all activity that happens under your account. Let us know right away if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use Aurae to:

• Attempt to harm, harass, or abuse another person;
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract the underlying models or systems Aurae is built on;
• Use the service for any unlawful purpose, or in a way that violates the rights of others;
• Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the service's operation or security.

Your content

You retain ownership of what you tell Aurae. By using the service, you grant us a limited license to process your conversation content -- including sending it to the third-party AI providers described in our Privacy Policy -- solely to operate and provide the service to you. We do not use your conversation content to train our own models, and do not sell it.

Subscriptions

Aurae offers an optional auto-renewing subscription, billed and managed entirely through your Apple ID / the App Store.

• Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Your Apple ID account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period, at the price you agreed to at purchase.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime in your device's Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions -- Aurae itself cannot cancel a subscription on your behalf, per Apple's own subscription rules.
• Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, is forfeited when you purchase a subscription during that trial.
• Refunds are handled by Apple according to Apple's own refund policies, not by us directly.

Termination

You can stop using Aurae and delete your account at any time from within the app -- this is a real, permanent deletion, described in our Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate access for anyone who violates these Terms.

Disclaimers

Aurae is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee that Aurae's responses, patterns, or reflections will be accurate, complete, or suited to your particular situation. Astrological content is provided as tone and texture only and is never presented as evidence for any claim Aurae makes about you.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Aurae. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, where required, notify you directly.
